Economic Impact of the Arts in Northumberland

DC Research has been appointed by the Northumberland Strategic Arts Forum to deliver the ‘Economic Impact of the Arts in Northumberland’ study. The study will provide an assessment of the economic impact of the arts in Northumberland, focusing on six key organisations as well as providing an overarching assessment of the impact of the arts sector on the wider Northumberland economy. The research findings will be used to inform future advocacy and public awareness campaigns at a county and national level about the impact of the arts.

A founding Director of DC Research, Stephen has more than eighteen years research experience achieved through a combination of roles in both academic research and private sector research and consultancy. Stephen is a Member of the Institute of Economic Development, and a Member of the UK Evaluation Society. He was awarded his PhD entitled "An analysis of the UK National Lottery: estimating additionality for local government" in 2004.
