Commissioning and supporting partner/funder agendas
We have delivered a wide range of research studies that have contributed to, and supported, museums and culture clients in evidencing their contribution to a wide array of agendas (including economic, health, skills, employability/worklessness, education, social/community development, environmental etc.). Such studies have helped museums, galleries and other leisure and cultural services to engage with service/strategic commissioners and also be commissioned to deliver services across the aforementioned agendas.
We were consultees and advisors to I&DeA/LGID work which led to the development of the Local Outcomes Framework for Culture and Sport, and we have recently worked with major museums the South West develop their approach to strategic commissioning.
Our experience includes a wide range of museum sector engagement work, such as developing programmes of sector support, the development of Cultural Impact Frameworks, Performance Management Frameworks, and Toolkits. We have carried out a wide range of evaluations and impact studies, and delivered lectures and presentations to academic and professional development audiences, on the role and contribution of museums and galleries to wider society and the economy.
