Sustainable Museum Development Services in the South West

DC Research and our partners Central Consultancy and Training are delighted to have been appointed by the South West Museum Development Partnership (SWMDP) to identify the most effective and sustainable mechanism for the delivery of Museum Development Services in South West England for 2012 to 2015. SWMDP is a partnership body whose membership includes Bristol Museum and Art Gallery (BMAG), the Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM), Plymouth City Museum & Art Gallery (PCMAG), the South Western Federation of Museums & Art Galleries (SWFED) and representation from local authorities.

The study nvolved comprehensive consultation with museum development stakeholders across the South West, and resulted in the detailed development of options and recommendations for sustainable delivery to SWMDP in December 2012.
